Description

The Financial Affairs Committee (FAC) will work with the Vice President for Financial Affairs to ensure UGBC is allocating the Student Activities Fee in an appropriate manner that maximizes utility for students.  Additionally, FAC will ensure UGBC is transparent with its allocations and spending so as to keep the organization accountable to the student body.

Initiatives

For the fall of 2014, FAC will be tackling the following initiatives:

  • Ensuring UGBC spends its portion of the Student Activities Fee in an appropriate, transparent, and responsible manner.
  • Creating and enforcing funding guidelines for both internal operations and external allocations.
  • Working with the administration to strengthen the student voice in the budgetary processes of the University, especially in terms of the Student Activities Fee.
