Welcome!

This Friday, the MG went to FHC to perform for the patients of Unit One as part of our new volunteer program. From left to right: Lizzie Bayoff, Chelsea Lennox, Dan Miller, Alex Navarro (with his hard face), Dan Mercurio, and Mike Lipari.

Welcome to Boston College's one and only Music Guild, the largest music organization on campus. We're known for hosting open mic nights, band showcases, various artist workshops, and other cool events for our members. We also are an outlet to help promote any bands that are associated with BC. Here you can check out our SoundCloud group, like our Facebook page, and follow us on Twitter. If our very state-of-the-art and expensive website is missing something you're looking for or you have some ideas for the Music Guild, check out the Officers page and send one of us an email.

Music Guild highlights on this page include our practice room reservation system, musician's registry, and various other things we hope will get you jamming and growing the music scene on the Heights.

Cheers,
The Officers

We switched room reservation systems effective now! If you wish to use Lyons 409 for practice, use the link under the Resources tab. Only reservations made on the new system will be honored. Reservations can now be made up to two weeks in advance by just clicking the hour time slots you want and then filling out the information fields. Be courteous!

If you've filled out the equipment waiver and have not received the locker combination for the gear in Lyons 409, please send us an email at music.guild@bc.edu. This will let you get to the amps, loop pedal, and cables that are there for you to use!

If you are interested in being a part of the Music Guild this year, just come out to our events and talk to the officers or send us an email at music.guild@bc.edu Also, if you would like to reserve a practice room, fill out a our equipment waiver and then follow the online instructions at the practice room page.

We've reserved Lyons 409 for Mondays-Fridays this school year between the hours of 9 pm and 12 am. There's a drum set in the room so if you reserve it, please make use of it! This is the only available drum kit on campus, so if you are looking for a place to play, but don't need drums, other rooms on the fourth floor of Lyons are open. To reserve Lyons 409, follow this link.
